Happy New Year, dear friends! I can’t believe it’s 2014 already…but BRING IT ON! I praise the Lord for a wonderful 2013, and pray that He will find us faithful in whatever He brings us in 2014! I just have to share this session since it is one of my absolute faves, and because it reminds me of a holidayish New Years session!
So, this session is of my sweet friend and AMAZING senior photographer, Meg Borders and her family. Their yearly family session always seems to be a last minute, fly-by-the-seat-0f-our-pants type of session! Haha! The day before we had their session scheduled, we decided to cancel because the high temp for that day was supposed to be 25 degrees. Maybe some families can handle that, but a family of three little girls and all in short sleeve dresses seemed like it just might be a big huge fail! So, we canceled till Spring, but then thought we’d try to send a call out on Facebook to anyone who might have a gorgeous, white indoor building we could shoot in in Walla Walla. Failed on that one too! But hey, put a few very crazy photographer minds together and in a last ditch effort, we put a white bench in my boys’ bathroom, a huge reflector to one side, 5 crazy kids running around in the background, a 3 week old baby screaming, and one AMAZINGLY SWEET, PATIENT, GORGEOUS AND PHOTOGENIC FAMILY – and here are the results! I think I’m glad we go for “crazy” every now and then!
